As from a wide range of opportunities to develop an architectural design background and to build up a deeply rootedmethodological approach to the design process, this course offers to the students the opportunity to cultivate their own architectural interests and passions.

The aim of this course is to investigate the relationship between architectural design and urban forms in terms of their physical characteristics and to focus on the relationship between project and context. The course attempts to explore design issues involved in a multi-purpose project in one selected European urban site. The programme will emphasize on the interdisciplinary and holistic approach and encourages both collaborative research and more introspective, individual modes of thinking and practice.
